John has completed his walk across Spain, having been walking through the country for more than a month. Thank you all for your prayers.

As always, the time in a country seems all too short. But we trust the Lord will continue to raise up believers to bring His light and love to the wonderful people of this nation.

A Prophetic Word For Spain

As John was nearing the end of his time in the country, he was impressed with the following:

Foremost on my mind at this juncture are a couple of prophetic words the Holy Spirit has placed on my heart for Spain and the Walk.  Early one morning, as Sandy and I walked through an almond orchard, I thought that I could discern the tiniest of almond buds. They were small enough to be almost imperceptible. Later that day, Sandy came across Jeremiah 1:11-12 which says, “The word of the Lord came to me: "What do you see, Jeremiah?" "I see the branch of an almond tree," I replied. The Lord said to me, "You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled." The Amplified Bible talks about late winter buds, which are exactly what I saw.

Spiritually, Spain has been in drought for some years, if not centuries. It’s been said that even the events of the Protestant Reformation had little impact on Spain. By the Spirit of God, I believe that the wind of the Spirit is about to change for Spain. God is about to do a new thing in that great country and even though it is barely perceptible right now, in the not too distant future the tree will bear fruit. God’s eye is on Spain and He will surely bring it to pass.
